Adopt-a-Cage

The Adopt-A-Cage program is a great opportunity to help suport the shelter.

This program gives you a chance to support the new cats to our shelter. This is important because the cats must go through about a month long isolation in a safe cage to receive all their vaccinations, be tested for feline leukemia, and to become used to the shelter environment. You will receive photos and updates on the cats that you are helping to support.

We have three levels to choose from, all conveniently billed monthly through PayPal.

GOLD is the most helpful level, as it completely supports the cat from the time it arrives at our shelter until it leaves its cage for a good home.

  • $5 pays for the cat's food for one month.
  • $5 pays for the cat's 2 feline distemper and upper respiratory virus vaccinations. This is important because it saves the cats from possible sickness in the future.
  • $5 pays for the cat's litter.
  • $10 pays for the cat's microchip. This is a great way for lost cats to be reunited with their owners.
  • $15 pays for the cat's feline leukemia test. This is important because if the cat tests positive we place it in a room with other feline leukemia positive cats where it can live out it's natural life in comfort.
  • $50 pays to spay/neuter the cat. This is needed to prevent unwanted litters in the future and prevent many health problems, like some forms of cancer.
This adds up to $90 a month, billed monthly. Click

SILVER is the second most helpful level; it supports the cat for one month without a spay/neuter.
